We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team and help drive the development of a variety of software platforms that enable Presso services to reach the masses. What We Offer:

The typical salary range for a Lead Software Engineer in/around Atlanta, GA is $110,000 ~ $140,000. The ultimate compensation may vary depending on your experience and job-related skills. Additionally, we offer a dynamic benefits package that includes the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of 2 developers in the development and management of multiple software platforms, spanning microcontroller embedded codebase, mobile Android interfaces, and both internal and client-facing web applications.
  • Develop high-quality production code adhering to industry-standard coding practices, including thorough code reviews and testing processes.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop feature updates, hotfixes, and bug fixes for all platforms.
  • Generate software release plans and schedules based on business needs.
  • Serve as the product owner for the Android codebase, executing new development, UI/UX enhancements, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
  • Review and debug code to ensure its quality, reliability, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Perform validation and verification testing and architect automated testing frameworks
  • Document development phases and continually monitor systems for optimization opportunities.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, including experience in leading/being part of a team of developers to manage, architect, and deploy code to production environments.
  • Strong background in Software Design and Architecture and complete Agile development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience in leading small teams and overseeing project management, including proficiency in SCRUM processes.
  • Proven experience in developing web applications, client-side mobile applications, full-stack development, and DevOps.
  • Possess an analytical mind with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively liaising with product teams to narrow and define requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational efficiency.
